Albufeira is the eastern end of the area we cover, and the busiest town in it: apartments and aparthotels around the Old Town, the Strip and Oura, villas out towards Galé, Guia and Olhos de Água, and restaurants and bars everywhere in between. Apartments and holiday lets

Most homes in Albufeira are apartments: in the blocks above the Old Town, along the Strip and around Montechoro, near Oura beach and at the marina. A lot of them are holiday lets, and the floors take a full season of beach sand, sun cream and wet feet. Villas: Galé, Guia, Olhos de Água

Villas west of town towards Galé, inland around Guia and Ferreiras, and east towards Olhos de Água usually have large open-plan floors in porcelain. The worst areas are almost always the walkways and the doors to the pool terrace, where sand and pool water are carried inside. Hotels, aparthotels and restaurants

Albufeira has more hotels and restaurants than any other town we cover. For businesses the work is planned around how the place runs: guest rooms and corridors in sections between check-outs, restaurant floors before service or on a closed day. Planning a job in Albufeira

  • Distance. We are based in Lagos, roughly an hour away by the A22. That doesn’t change the price, but it helps if you can give us two or three possible dates.
  • Old Town access. Many streets in the centre are steep, narrow or pedestrian. Tell us the nearest place a van can stop; we carry the machine from there.
  • Summer on the Strip. July and August bring heavy traffic and late nights. Mornings work best, and the shoulder season is easier still.
  • Apartment buildings. Mention the lift, any working-hour rules from the condominium, and where the keys are.

Price in Albufeira

The same as everywhere we work: €15/m², +€2/m² for very dirty floors and +€5/m² for extremely dirty, heavy-use floors. Minimum job 50 m² (€750). Ceramic and porcelain only.
